App Store
Store Switch does not change your Apple ID country. It opens another App Store so you can read ratings, reviews, and charts. Purchases, subscriptions, and the account country still follow your Apple ID.
Canada is not the US store
The Canada App Store is the CA storefront, priced in Canadian dollars. People often call it the Canada store, or 加区. English and French both show up, but the chart is Canada’s, not a copy of the US store. US-dollar prices and US reviews do not appear here as if they were Canadian data.
French listings are also not a substitute for the France store. France is priced in euros, country code FR.
Browse the Canada App Store
- Stay signed in to your current Apple ID.
- Choose Canada in Store Switch, or open the Canada store link.
- Read Canada ratings, reviews, and charts. The account country stays where it is.
A Canadian Apple ID is the account
A Canadian Apple ID is an account set to Canada. Buying there needs a payment method Apple accepts in Canada. That is a country change. Sharing a border with the United States, and showing English, does not mean you are already buying on a US account.
Open the storefront on your iPhone
Store Switch is free on the App Store. Pick a region, open that store, and leave the Apple ID country where it is.
