App Store
App Store
Store Switch does not change your Apple ID country. It opens another App Store so you can read ratings, reviews, and charts. Purchases, subscriptions, and the account country still follow your Apple ID.
Vietnam is priced in dong
The Vietnam App Store is the VN storefront. Prices are in Vietnamese dong. Charts, reviews, and listing text are largely in Vietnamese. It is not the Thailand store and not the Singapore store. It is also not the mainland China store: currency, language, and account country all differ.
Opening the Vietnam page does not move the account to Vietnam, and it does not move it to mainland China either.
Browse the Vietnam App Store
- Stay signed in to your current Apple ID.
- Choose Vietnam in Store Switch, or open the Vietnam store link.
- Read Vietnam ratings, reviews, and charts. Purchases still follow the account you already use.
A Vietnamese Apple ID is the account
A Vietnamese Apple ID is an account set to Vietnam. Buying there needs a payment method Apple accepts in Vietnam. That is a country change. Store Switch does not create a Vietnamese Apple ID.
Open the storefront on your iPhone
Store Switch is free on the App Store. Pick a region, open that store, and leave the Apple ID country where it is.
