FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Separate opening another App Store from changing the Apple ID country. Store Switch only does the first job.
Apple ID
App
Apple ID and country
Does this change my Apple ID country?
No. Store Switch only opens another storefront. Purchases and the account country still follow the Apple ID.
Can I buy from another country’s App Store?
No. Looking at another store is not paying in that store.
How do I change my Apple Account country?
Only in Apple’s settings. Store Switch has no such control.
Why can't I change my Apple ID country?
Balance, subscriptions, pre-orders, or Family Sharing can block it. Browsing another store does not need those cleared.
Where does a region link go?
The same regional switching links as the app. On a computer, Apple may also redirect by location.
Using the app
Favorite apps vs favorite regions
Region favorites save storefronts. App favorites save one listing.
How do I add a desktop widget?
Add Store Switch from the iPhone Home Screen or the Mac desktop.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad on iOS 15 or later, plus some Macs and Apple Vision.
How do I remove ads?
Buy Switch Pro, a one-time in-app purchase, in Settings.
How can I send feedback?
Open the app and go to Settings > Feedback.
