Hong Kong App Store, separate from mainland China

Hong Kong has its own App Store, priced in Hong Kong dollars, with its own charts. Treating it as the mainland China store mixes up two account countries.

香港不是中国大陆商店

香港 App Store 是 HK 这个店面，价格为港币，排行和评论属于香港。它是一个常见的亚洲商店，中英文内容都有，而对 Apple ID 来说，它和中国大陆是不同的国家或地区。

中国大陆的 iCloud 由云上贵州（GCBD）运营。香港不使用这家运营方。打开香港商店，不会把账户改入或改出中国大陆，也不会迁移 iCloud。

  1. 保持当前 Apple ID 登录。

香港 Apple ID

香港 Apple ID 是地区设为香港的账户。只有打算在港区商店购买时才需要。那是 Apple 的更改国家，并要有香港可用的付款方式。Store Switch 不会创建这个账户。如果你实际要的是中国大陆商店，请看 中国大陆 App Store，而不是这一页。

Hong Kong is not the mainland China store

The Hong Kong App Store is the HK storefront. Prices are in Hong Kong dollars. Charts and reviews are Hong Kong’s. It is a common Asian storefront for people who want English alongside Chinese, and it is a different Apple ID country or region from mainland China.

Mainland China’s iCloud is operated by GCBD (云上贵州). Hong Kong does not use that operator. Opening the Hong Kong store does not move an account into or out of mainland China, and it does not transfer iCloud.

  1. Stay signed in to your current Apple ID.
  2. Choose Hong Kong in Store Switch, or open the Hong Kong store link.
  3. Read ratings, reviews, and charts. Purchases still follow your Apple ID country.

A Hong Kong Apple ID

A Hong Kong Apple ID is an account set to Hong Kong. You only need one if you intend to buy from the HK store. That is Apple’s country change, with a payment method Hong Kong accepts. Store Switch does not create that account. If the store you actually wanted was mainland China, use the China App Store page instead of this one.
