Macao App Store, separate from Hong Kong

澳区 is Macao, priced in patacas. It is not Hong Kong, and in Chinese it is easy to mix with Australia. Opening it does not change your Apple ID country.

App Store

A Macao Apple ID is an account set to Macao. Buying there needs a payment method Apple accepts in Macao. That is a country change. Store Switch does not create the account.

Open the storefront on your iPhone

Store Switch is free on the App Store. Pick a region, open that store, and leave the Apple ID country where it is.
